Let me tell you a story.
Roberto Di Raffaele,
brand storyteller.
I was born in Palermo in 1989 and, after that, I lived in Pesaro, then in Rimini and Reggio Emilia, I finally got to Milan.
Since 2022, I have been managing the communication strategy of Persol, a brand of EssilorLuxottica group.
I published my first book of tales, “LONELINE55”, in 2020 and, in 2021, my first podcast “I Racconti del Coprifuoco”.
Communication
I like thinking about the content that best fits your community, always looking at your business objectives.
Project Management
A clear workflow and time management, from scratch.
Analysis
I don’t own the best recipe for your strategy, but I can write down the recipe that fits your needs after analyzing your community’s behaviors.
They need no introductions
The companies I have had the luck to work with so far.
Clients I worked for in the past.
Telling stories is one of my greatest passions, maybe the greatest one. Below, some of my experiments, in several formats.
I Racconti del Coprifuoco (Italian, Podcast, 2020-2021)
What do a rider and a young disabled, a nerdy student and a famous actor, or a couple of swingers and “Carràmba! Che sorpresa” TV show have in common?
They are all connected by the feelings we all know and that we experimented through the curfew in Italy, that moment of the night in which we were forced to cope with our weakness and, at the same time, with our will to restart again, without the chance to have any social distraction.
“I Racconti del Coprifuoco” are short, popular, melancholy and visceral stories on the most difficult thing we cope with: our daily life.
LONELINE55 (Italian, Tales, 2020)
It is a collection of fifty-five micro tales as many as the words they are made of. I wanted to tell about loneliness from a contemporary point of view, looking at it as a consequence of the wrong teaching we all had at the end of the last century. We were trained to be unique to reach the highest levels of society.
While we were accomplishing this mission, we all realized the failures and the vulnerabilities of human beings. A common story, seen from five perspectives that correspond to five sections. Les objets, in which the objects are seen from a human perspective; Les Amours, which is focused on a well-known feeling; Les Autres, which tells about our relationships, especially if filtered by social media; L’Inaptitude, focused on a forbidden topic as failures are; La Mort is the final section about the most unmentionable subject of the Western culture: the end of the life as we know it and the mourning.

Why do all we need a story?
No one cares about following a brand on social media if it doesn’t tell a story that they can live. On the other hand, no one can deny that a product shot may lead to more “likes” and “clicks” but, after a purchase, are we sure that the customer will come back for another purchase?
How many people would notice if we will stop publishing someday and how many people are waiting for a meme from that famous page that you do not manage? (Neither me, unfortunately)
A meme, in the 2020s, tells a story in its way.
